A Message of Condolence

On the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Red Lodge Parish Council on behalf of the residents, offers their deepest condolences to the Royal Family.

During Her Majesty’s lengthy reign of 70 years, Her devotion and service both as a public and a family figure were immeasurable. She was not only an inspiration to many parishes in the United Kingdom, but also an inspiration world-wide.
The loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will indeed leave a mark of sadness and grief with countless people.
The parishioners of Red Lodge offer their heartfelt thoughts and their prayers of comfort, at this very sad time.

As you know today, 15th June 2020, non-essential retail shops are permitted to open. West Suffolk Council has been working with partners in our main shopping towns to introduce measures to ensure this can be done in a safe way, and are very aware that all retailers may need support with signage or the measures they need to take.

We have created a resource pack for anyone to use to download signage, and also have floor stickers available. If you do receive any enquiries from local businesses please do signpost them to our resources page: https://www.westsuffolk.gov.uk/coronavirus/safer-places/spbusinesspack.cfm

And if you have any concerns in regards to highways and the ability to safely social distance or require any printed local signs, please do contact the Council’s customer services team: customer.services@westsuffolk.gov.uk as well as looking for the information on http://www.westsuffolk.gov.uk/coronavirus/safer-places/ which also links to the business pack.

This is unprecedented times for all of us and we recognise that despite best endeavours people and organisations will not get this right first time and indeed measures will change and evolve as guidance changes or new ideas are explored.
